Week of November 7th Updates

School Pictures

We had heard from a few of our families that had expressed concerns over the print quality of fall school pictures. When shown an example, Kaiser Studios, believes it was an issue with one of their printers. However, since we don't have record of whose photos printed off of which printer, they have decided to re-print all of the photos that were taken in September. Picture re-take day is still November 9th, for those interested in having re-takes. If you are are going to participate in re-takes, please bring in your photo packet from September.

Conference Lunch for Teachers on November 15th & 17th

With our conferences coming up, we like to provide a meal for the teachers during their extremely long conference days! The lunch Tuesday will be a pot-luck, and we will be catering in the lunch on the 17th, but we need your help!

If you are interested in helping out, please follow this link to sign up.

Anyone interested in helping with set up or clean up - your help is always appreciated!

Hardy Halloween Hoopla

All art raffle winners have been notified. Please pick up your artwork as soon as possible.
Mr. Heitsch and the teachers have been informed about the winners for each raffle item. They will contact your student soon to schedule (if they haven't already).

Please don't hesitate to thank Mrs. Wright and Mary Taylor for their fabulous collaboration and efforts for all of the artwork created by the students. A tremendous amount of time was dedicated to generate the masterpieces showcased at the Hoopla.

5th Grade Camp Update

The district committee has held the first meeting to discuss 5th grade camp. in the meantime, I have some families contacting local organizations, locations, etc. to make sure students are provided an experience(s) this year. There is talk of a district wide survey for all parents, so at this time, I am not sending one just to our families. If that does not occur, I will send one out.  Because of the "pause," the 5th graders had a Halloween party in the gym last Monday. This typically has occurred at camp and we felt it was the least we could offer at this time.
