Huskies CRUSH goals!

Well, Huskies, we barreled through our goal and we are going to KEEP READING! We are at over *21,000!!* minutes read and over $16k for our school! Anyone else’s child insist on getting in their reading minutes tonight? 🙋‍♀️ We celebrated our first milestone today with a Bubble Welcome that the kiddos just LOVED! Next week will be POPSICLES & MUSIC at lunch, followed by Silly Stringing the Principal & other teachers the week after!! We are also working on some AWESOME new events for future milestones hit! We are just 3 days into our Wild About Reading Read-A-Thon and are loving the participation!

Wild About Reading!

March is Reading Month!  The Hardy PTO will be hosting “Huskies Wild About Reading Fundraiser” during the month of March.  This fundraising event will replace the Hardy PTO Golf Outing.  We are optimistic that this new fundraising initiative will engage our students and our entire community!  Full event details will be sent home with your child Monday, March 2^nd.

 

Event Dates:  Monday, March 2^nd thru Friday, March 20^th

 

Registration - the Key to Our Success:  Look for the link that will be sent out Monday when we go live.  Our goal is for all parents/students to go online and register for the event.  It’s easy and takes only a few minutes!  All students that register online and share their page will receive a Huskies Wild About Reading rubber wristband.

 

Fun activities and incentives are planned for the students as we reach our fundraising goals.  The PTO fundraisers provide many enrichment programs such as student assemblies, author visits in March, Science Alive in the classrooms, Family Fun events and much more. 

 

We are so excited for this new event!
