Message from Mr. Heitsch

Dear Hardy Families,
It is with frustration that I share out this e-mail.  People are choosing to use the Handicap parking spaces to idle and walk their children into school.  This is a major issue at our building.  I will again be in contact with Oakland County to see if they will come out to enforce this issue.  I understand that parking and space is limited but nothing should impeded the safety and well being of our students.

Thank you for your support in the is matter moving forward.

Cory Heitsch

Congratulations Mr. Hamill & Miss Clark's 5th Graders

These classes worked together to organize, sell and distribute candy grams to fellow Hardy Students.  With their hard efforts, they were able to raise over 900 dollars for The Bottomless Toy Chest, in addition to the class donation of over 60 toys for kids with cancer. During the holiday season, they were able to put their learned Habits of Mind into action!  I am sure they have made many children and their families very happy at this time of the year.  Great Job!

Happy Hardydays!

Please join us at the first annual Happy Hardydays Family Sing-a-Long on Thursday, December 17th at 6pm outside in the back bus loop (dress warm).  We will have 15-20 minutes of caroling followed by cookies and cocoa in the gym.  As a bonus, the middle schools are sending some carolers to sing while we snack!  There are also a few "photo spots" for your family to take fun pictures, so bring your camera!  See you there.

Please RSVP by this Thursday, December 10th.  (We want to have enough cocoa and cookies for all attendees). See attached flyer for RSVP form.

Please consider volunteering for a short shift so this event may be a success.
