March is Reading Month T-Shirts

March is reading month! Keep reading and keep logging your minutes!! 

All the students, teachers and staff will be receiving a March is reading month t-shirt. However, if you would like to purchase an additional one, please fill out the attached form and send it with $8 to school. Due to the power outage, the due date has been extended until Wednesday, March 22nd. 

Students are asked to wear their t-shirts to school on Thursday, March 30th.

Spelling Bee

Congratulations to the Hardy Spelling Bee Winners! They will be representing Hardy at the District Spelling Bee on Monday, March 20th. Good luck to all our super spellers!

Hardy Hawaiian Luau

Thank you to all those who attended the Hardy Hawaiian Luau! It was a super fun event that raised money to help purchase steel drums for the music department!!

Red Wings

The Red Wings Assembly Team was at Hardy yesterday promoting healthy living! The coaches talked about healthy eating, education and dedication, and then there was a shoot out: students vs teachers!

Mid Winter Break Updates

Box Top Collection ends next Wednesday, February 22nd. Please send in your box tops to help the students win a Spirit Week in March. The collection bin is in the entryway to the school.

Hardy's Spelling Bee - February 27th
Congrats to all of the winners from the 3rd-5th grade classroom spelling bees! They will meet on Monday, Feb 27th to spell again and strive to represent Hardy at the District's upcoming Spelling bee.

Pizza Kit Orders Due

Just a reminder that Pizza Kit orders are due this Thursday, February 2nd. All orders must be placed online. Follow the directions on the Flash Sale flyer below. Stock up on easy lunch/sinner ideas for over break.

Book Fair

Just a reminder that the book fair is in full swing these half days. 2nd and 3rd grade and the blue hall will be shopping tomorrow during their assembly time. 4th and 5th grade will be shopping on Friday. The book sale will also be open after school Thursday and Friday from 12-1 for parents to visit with their children.

The proceeds from the sale will go to help Mrs. Sexton and the Hardy library purchase books and furniture to update the library.
