Upcoming Calendar Reminders


  1.  Hardy Elementary Dairy Queen Day:  Wednesday, September 18, 2019 between 4pm -7pm.  No flyer needed for purchase. 
  2. Curriculum Night JK - 2nd:  Thursday September 19 - JK @ 5:30; K-2nd @6:30.  
  3. Curriculum Night 3rd - 5th:  Thursday September 26th, starting at 6:30. 
  4. Volunteer Orientation: Friday, September 20th @ 9:15am in the cafeteria.  If you are not able to attend but are interested in learning more, please email:  ptohardy@gmail.com   
  5.   Picture day: Thursday, September 26th.  Order forms will be sent home soon.
  6. Volunteer opportunities are available.  If interested, sign up via link below.
  7. Hardy Hustle/Color Run: Sunday, October 6th - Registration is now OPEN!  Click below to register and see info on race times/registration fees/payment options:  
  8.  Hardy Halloween Hoopla: Friday, October 18th from 5:30-8 pm
    •  Volunteer opportunities available
  9.  Next PTO Meeting (All are welcome): Thursday, October 3rd @ 9:05am in the cafeteria
  •  2019/2020 Directory Cover Contest for ALL Students!  All Hardy students are invited to submit a design for the cover of this year’s student directory!  
    • Mrs. Wright will discuss the directory cover contest with students.  If time permits, students may be able to draw something in Art class. If not, encourage your artist to do a master piece at home.  
    • Drawings should represent or symbolize Hardy Elementary and its students. 
    • It should be on a plain white 8-1/2 x11 sheet of paper and drawn in black and white ONLY. Please put your name and teacher’s name on the BACK of the paper. 
    • All designs must be turned in to your teacher by Thursday, September 19, 2019

Dairy Queen Days!

Every third Wednesday of the month is Hardy Elementary Dairy Queen Day between 4pm -7pm!  Enjoy a treat this Wednesday 9/18 and a portion of the sales during the 2 hour block will benefit Hardy Elementary PTO.   No flyer needed at purchase.

1st Annual Hardy Hustle/Color Run


Our 1st Annual Hardy Hustle/Color Run is October 6, 2019.  
This will be a great family fun event!

This is a Color Run so we recommend wearing clothes that you do not care if get stained with color.  Bring an old towel and have fun!

Annual Mum time!

The annual mum fundraiser for 5th grade activities is here!  Mums come in a 2 gallon pot and available in 5 different colors.  See order form for color selection. Checks made payable to Hardy Elementary.  Orders due by 9/20, pickup on 9/26 from 4:30 to 6pm.

Welcome Back Huskies!

We hope that your students have had a successful first week of school!  Now on to the first full week!

Thank you to the Kindergarten PTO Welcome Team for distributing lunch shirts and bus tags on the first day of school. 

Many Thanks to Dr. Ashley Reynolds of Crescent Orthodontics for donating the lunch shirts to Hardy!!
