Five Below Shopping Week!  12/9-12/15

From 12/9-12/15, Five Below in Novi will be giving 10% of all purchases BACK to HARDY!  You must bring the flyer (see attached).  A great way to support Hardy and get some holiday shopping done at the same time.

Hardy Update 11/23

Happy Thanksgiving!  

This week, we give thanks for many things including the wonderful school to which our students go everyday. We must remember to thank the great staff who spent many hours last week talking to us about our students.  

Thanks to our Cheers team of Bridget Iovan, Jody Shade and Sabrina Heck and many other volunteers, the staff enjoyed great lunches on the two conference days. Special Thanks to Katie Price and the Little Caesars Pizza Kits team who baked fresh pizzas, breadsticks, and cookies right in the lounge! We also appreciate the discounts provided by Alekos and Pastry Palace. 

We also must thank the Book Fair Team of Kelly Woodard and Lindsay Bray with training help from Jenn McKay. They spent hours last week making sure students, families and teachers could purchase books. We also appreciate the volunteers who jumped in to ensure the sale could continue. All proceeds from the sale will benefit Hardy's library.  

Art Done Wright Sign-Ups are HERE!  Only a few spots remain!

This year, workshops will be sorted by age. However, grade 3-5 workshops are sold out!  If you are in grades 3-5 and would still like to participate, you may now sign up for the remaining spots in the JK-2 workshops.  

Workshops will run from 4:15-5:45pm. $25 per student. Only 15 slots per class! All proceeds go to help Mrs. Wright purchase art supplies, technology and equipment for the students.

Wednesday, November 14th Update

Happy Wednesday! 

The Hardy PTO hosted a wonderful Veteran's Day Assembly and Breakfast yesterday. The students learned from speakers, enjoyed the sounds of the South Lyon East Choir and sang beautiful music for the special guests. Thank you to the Veterans and their families who attended, our two informative speakers, Mr. Allen Bialek, and Mr. Al from Operation Injured Solder, Mrs. Ginman and the Honor Guard students, Mrs. Rose & Mrs. Wright for the amazing art and music, the fantastic cafeteria staff, the South Lyon East Choir, Mr. Jim (Hardy's Building Engineer), Mr. Heitsch and Hardy's great staff, Biggby of New Hudson, and our hardworking volunteers. We hope that it was a positive experience for all!  

Box Tops

Our first Box Tops reward check is headed to Hardy and it is over $600! The students will get two special days to celebrate:  

11/15 (tomorrow): HAT DAY!

11/20 (next Tuesday): PJ DAY!!

Grand Trunke Shopping Night

Don't Forget!  Grande Trunke Shopping Night for Hardy is tomorrow, Thursday, November 15th!  Please do some early shopping and help Hardy too!  

Finally, there are a few spiritwear orders outstanding. We are working with our vendor to resolve. Thanks for your patience.

Sing at the Detroit Pistons Game with Mrs. Rose!! Sunday, December 9th - 3:30pm game (arrive 2:15pm)!

There is still time to order your tickets online!  Kids are singing "High Hopes!" It's always an amazing experience for the students to sing on the basketball court in the huge arena! Orders must be purchased by Friday, November 23rd.
